Beginning December 1, 2012, the Jim Dempsey Foundation will be offering artwork which has been donated by our featured artists on eBay. Bio: Chris Knioum is a retired licensed professional counselor, who counseled mentally ill and chemically dependent clients in Texas for 26 years. She studied Art and English education and “played” with painting and drawing since she was a young child. After retiring, she returned to her first love and began producing artwork again, loving every minute of it. She began selling artwork regularly and volunteered at a local community art center in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is on Facebook, at chris.knioum@facebook.com.

Bio: Hillary’s life long love of painting began at the age of eight when she attended classes with artist James Baker at the Art Barn in Greenwich, Connecticut. By age twelve, she started classes at the Art Student’s League in New York City. Later, Hillary studied with the painter Edna Tacon, a student of Wassily Kandinsky.
