The JDF has received private donations from a number of sources over the last few years and our members have participated in fundraisers that have been partially successful. These donations and fundraising efforts have allowed us to give three scholarships, but we have not yet had a chance to secure sustainable funds in order to offer something each year. However, this year one of our Board Members, Mr. David Bennett, has made a generous donation and arranged for a professional grant writer to work with the JDF to potentially gain ground with sustainable fundraising. At this time I must extend a heart felt Thank You to Mr. Bennett – for your generosity and kindness!
